The prices are unbeatable. They use the same network as Telus, so there are no coverage issues. I've never had a problem. The points system is great. History of the Public Mobile brand
On March 18, 2010, Public Mobile opened its first stores in Montreal and Toronto. Two years after its launch, the brand decided to price up its cheapest mobile plan for unlimited calls by $4/month. In August 2012, Public Mobile invested in a service of unlimited music for its Android smartphones, which is currently known as Siren Music. Towards the end of the year, Public Mobile release the UMX Companion, a simple flip phone targeted towards older users. To this day, Public Mobile continues to rise in popularity with more and more subscribers.
