Compare the best Fonus mobile plans in Quebec

I have been with fonus for several years now, starting at the time when there was just one plan with unlimited data. At first it worked pretty well, then they changed the plan structure. I chose the 5gb high speed then unlimited throttled speed. Ever since this change I have problems every month when the plan renews. The data doesn't get reset properly and remains at 0GB. What's more, I get locked out of connecting to data altogether. Every month I have to argue by chat with a person that wants me to do all kinds of changes to my phone setup until I can convince them to check the settings at their end and then finally it starts working again (for a month) Today I have reached my limit. The operator just wouldn't acknowledge that she needs to check the server settings at their end even with Screenshots of my remaining data on their app. I had 1GB left on my account from last month (everything worked at that point) and I contacted them to get the 5GB update for this month. They did reset it, but to 0GB and then I couldn't connect anymore.The reason I'm here on planhub is that I'm shopping for another provider.Also beware of their advertisement. Roaming works in France, but not in Switzerland as advertised in their list of countries. Unfortunately, you only find out when you get there and you can't communicate with your friends that are there to pick you up at the airport.

I wanted to use this service because of the price and the ability to travel. They advertise that Wi-Fi calling is available with their service, which is false. You absolutely have to use their app, connect directly to a cellular network, and disable Wi-Fi. I'm in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, where network connections are unreliable, hence the lack of Wi-Fi calling. I spent from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM today making various adjustments via online chat, and it's still not resolved after six hours. I want to get my phone number back and switch to another provider, but they're blocking it. Make sure you have a reliable network connection before doing business with them. I can't imagine being in another country and having to deal with this!
